Do I qualify to write the AAT?

If you do not meet the direct entry requirements for the programme for which you have applied, the Admissions Department will determine whether or not you qualify to be invited to write the Access Assessment Test (AAT).

In order to be referred to write the AAT, you need to fulfil both of the following requirements:

  1. Your APS must fall within the testing band indicated for the programme for which you are applying.
  2. You must meet the minimum subject requirements for the programme for which you are applying. Please contact your Admissions Officer for further information on the specific minimum subject requirements for your programme.

PLEASE NOTE: You will not qualify to write the AAT for a specific programme if:

  • Your APS falls below the testing band for that programme, and/or
  • You fail to meet the minimum subject requirements for that programme
